This Spanish-colonial-inspired estate combines the dramatic Southwest surroundings and European Spanish traditions, with a dash of local Arizona flair.

Tucked neatly into the canyons of the McDowell Mountains in North Scottsdale, the Silverleaf Residence embodies desert luxury in a Spanish-inspired sanctuary. This Spanish-colonial-inspired estate combines the dramatic Southwest surroundings and European Spanish traditions, with a dash of local Arizona flair.

A tastefully designed porte-cochère welcomes guests and provides direct access to the guest suite where visitors can drop their bags and enjoy the dramatic views from a shared balcony  made of forged iron extending along the exterior of the residence. Spanish-inspired decorative wood treatments throughout the home add bespoke elements that truly showcase the design decisions of each space. These locally carved wooden corbels and traditional steel windows mesh with the Saltillo and terra cotta tiles that lead to the expansive outdoor gathering spaces.

The home follows the Spanish colonial style with a spacious front and a centralized rear courtyard, created by an H-shaped floor plan. Outdoor living enthusiasts will delight in several covered patios, a relaxing pool with a flowing mission revival fountain, and three exterior fireplaces adorned with decorative stone. Each space creates pockets for quiet contemplation among spectacular mountain views or intimate conversation with seating for two to three people.

The perfect hideaway to entertain family and friends, this mix of Spanish colonial inspiration with desert luxury work in harmony to create the ultimate in relaxation and comfort.
